What backing plate to use with a mercury prop on a v4

Does anybody know what backing spacer i would need to fit a mercury prop onto my yamaha its got a 13 5/8 prop and i have a new 13 3/4 mecury with a new hub kit but dont know what backing washer to use the yamaha is too small to fit the prop.

When running a Merc prop on a Yamaha you'll simply use the Merc thrust washer. That should get the spacing right.

the spacing is right but the yamaha prop washer is splined and has about a 1 1/4 shoulder for the back of the prop whereas the merc washer is tapered on the back and has a smooth center and has a 2" pr so shoulder that fits inside the back of the prop i need a washer that is splined and has the bigger shoulder to fit insid e the rer of the prop to align the rear of the prop right.
