So I got a boat trailer just like this one for free at a job I did. 1975-Lil-Rider-Power-Boat-Trailer-Brochure.jpg It only had one tire and wheel but did have both hubs. There wasn't much left of the bearings and most of them where missing (maybe someone started to change them at one point?)

Anyway, I don't know what bearing kit I'm supposed to get. Here's what the dimensions on the axle. bearings.jpg
The hubs are the same diameter on the inside and outside (about 1.975"). It looks to me like the inner bearing should have a larger inside diameter (than the outside bearing) and the seal presses against the "step" to the square portion of the axle? It also appears that the number on one of the bearings is L44649.

I'd really appreciate help in what bearings to get. Although I have changed utility trailer bearings before and I'm very capable mechanically, I just don't know what bearing kit to buy.

I just realized my drawing is mislabeled: It should say about 1.060 (not 1.600)

Check the sticky at the top for bearing info. There is a chart with measurements and part numbers

Thank you. Now, after looking at that diagram, I'm thinking maybe the inner and outer bearing are going to have the same i.d. and o.d.? Not sure???

I did send a message to Load Rite with my trailer model # and serial # in hopes that they can tell me what their trailer requires.
