What boat for my 9.9 mercury *Long Shaft*

I have a 1989 9.9 mercury long shaft, the boat it was on sprung a leak and died but I saved my outboard, what is a good new boat brand that will use a 9.9 long shaft? This motor runs so nice because it has extremely low hours and new motors are so exspensive.

Don't skimp on the size. A boat with a nice big foot print will support weight better and plane easier.I feel that a big 14 ft or bigger will plane easier with one person than a smaller boat.And defintely haul a load better too.
Don't just buy by length check other demensions as well.

A lund wc-14 tiller model has a 20" transom. And, Lund has some of the greatest boats on the market today. They have set their reputation on making the most durable boats. My 1974 lund is better than some of the new aluminum boats on the market IMHO.

the long shaft is very good for any sail boat from 25 to 30 ft long in most conditions... d

I have a 21' sailboat with a 4hp and the 9.9 is just to big for the mount. Thanks for all the boat ideas!
