What bottom paint to choose

I bought a boat with bottom paint (or left over bottom paint).<br />I want to keep the boat on a trailer, mostly going out on day trips, but also having it in the water 1-2 weeks during a yearly summer trip.<br /><br />What bottom paint should I choose?<br />I want some long lasting, smooth and high performance kind of paint.<br /><br />I found some VC offshore from Interlux, but it says that it "Will lift non-vinyl paints".<br /><br />How can I figure out what kind of paint is on the boat?<br /><br />Regards<br />Mike

call interlux, they are very help full.<br />i wished i would have painted mine with the one you are looking at.<br />-<br />mine had antifoulant that was old, so i just repainted with the same & made trailer a roller style.<br />would have been cheaper to go with the VC.
