What can you tell me??? 1989 Traveler TX170

I just bought this boat. It's a 1989 Traveler TX170 with a 1989 Evinrude 88spl. I really want to know about the boat. I know about the older Arkansas Travelers (which are sweet boats... If I was rich I'd be fixing them up left and right.) The Coast Guard plaque in the boat says Traveler Boat Company - Smackover, AR. So quite possibly it is an Arkansas Traveler but I can't find anything out about this boat. I found a picture of a 16 foot version online and that is it. Can't find anything on the company. I can find lots on the old boats but nothing on this. Does the company exists? Could I contact the coast guard for information? Should I take a weekend road trip to Smackover? Anything anyone can tell me about my boat or any leads to where I can get information would be much appreciated.
