Dealing with a 1977 Mercury 1150 - 115 HP - Ser. Num. 4569747
I'm wanting to do a total Carb Rebuild but I'm having a hard time figuring out what Carbs I have. I see on the top of the Float Bowl Cover it has the number 1395-5677. On the bottom of the Bowl Cover it says Mercarb and has a number that I'm not able to read.
On the Iboats Parts section it lists my '77 at having a KD-6A / KD-6B or several versions that start with WMK-____.
For most of the parts the Sierra part number is the same for either version of the carb, but when I get to the Needles & Seats the part number is 18-7057 for the KD Carbs, and 18-7061 for the WMK Carbs.
How do I determine if I have the KD or WMK carbs? Here are some photos if it will help:
