it's an 84 Evinrude 90....just rebuilt, and it runs great!! fires right up and idles just fine cold. But as the engine warms up and runs for a while it won't idle at all? and dies over and over. I thought about turning the idle screw up but then I think it would idle too fast when the engine is cold...also sometimes the engine won't start right up when it warm? it acts like its flooded..but just a quick touch of the key starts it up when it's cold! any thoughts? new plugs maybe?? Thanks!!

The primer solenoid is probably open. Make sure that the red handle is aligned with the cylindrical base of the solenoid; then it will only operate when you push the key in as it is supposed to.
