I have won this tank on ebay, and want to have the hose connection ready for it ASAP before it arrives. So can any of you please tell me exactly what connection is needed by looking at this pic (if possible)?
Re: What connection do I need for this fuel tank (pic)
I am running a Yamaha gas tank on an Evinrude, I have a yammie fitting on one end and an rude on the other, you need to do the same, get a honda fitting for the tank and a ? fitting for your motor.
Got both mine at Wally World, didn't notice if they had Honda or not..

Why not just go to a honda dealer or another store that carries them and get a "tank-end hose fitting" for a Honda tank? I can't think of any other way to describe it. Then you do whatever you want with the other end (for example, I have a Mariner tank with a Merc/Mariner tank fitting and use it for Merc and Evinrude kickers just by changing out the other end, or "engine fitting".
Every other make that I've ever seen has one type of tank end fitting, unless you get into antique-aged stuff. You ask for (or look at the package) a tank end fitting for the make of tank you have (not the engine), and you'll get the right thing. Fuel hose and primer bulbs are also sold by outboard dealers, but they really are generic... so that part doesn't matter and can be bought at any number of places including big box stores and auto parts stores.
