What consists of a green board transom?

Im just wonder what the term green board transom means. I have a 2000 trophy 2352, From what ive been told and read, was that they have a green board transom. I have searched hi and lo but to prevail can i find out what that means. Im assuming its some laminated wood or something. Am i right or wrong?

Its greenwood, not greenboard. XL ply to be exact.

iin realality how much better is that than standard marine plywood. I read the info on the link, thanks by the way. Have you had expierence with it?

Its basically pressure treated Marine plywood. My builder uses it and gives a lifetime warrenty.
