Can anyone tell me what the outside diameter (including insulation) is for 6 AWG battery cable? On my 1983 Mercury 25hp motor the battery cable is approximately .37 inch in diameter but I cannot find a size designation on the cable. I will be using the 6 AWG battery cable to run from my deep cycle battery to my trolling motor receptacle and I want to heat shrink the battery ends so I need to know what size heat shrink tubing to get.
