Picked up a project from my next door neighbor. Have a lot of work in front of me. Should be a good boat for me and my dog.

Sure look like you've got a huge project ahead of you now. Post more pictures and let us see the inside and other views as well. What size engine doe she have on her? I'm reasonably sure the floor, stringers, and transom are gone to the usual rotting disease by now as well. From what I can see of the trailer, it looks like it can be refurbished without too much effort... Post those pictures...and decide what you want to turn it into...

Good luck with this - what condition is the motor like on this?

Yea I saved it from the dump---LOL---Motor is a 1970 Johnson 60hp. Was told it is pretty fresh. Got it most of the way stripped and looks much better. See if I can make a good fishing boat for not much $$$.

Congrats! Check That Transom out well.. Highly Likely rotted. What are your plans for a resto? Are you thinking a full on replacement of stringers and transom or patching things up for a year or two of fishing?

yea....it will need a transom soon. Going to run it for awhile and see if it works for me and if so will go in for a rebuild. floor is solid...at least to walk on.

Looks like a great donor boat.

If the transom and floor are shot.

Save your restore $$$ and buy a tin hull. Keep all the salvaged goods, the motor and the trailer.
