What distributor do I have

I have a 1989 SeaRay 160 with a 3.0L Mercruiser I/O. It has points and I'd like to replace them with the solid state electronic conversion kit. I see two kits listed for the Mercruiser 4 CYL engines. One is for a Delco distributor and the other is for a Prestolite distributor. How do I tell which one I have?

Don just a quick thanks on the help with my distrib...you hit the nail on the head...got electronic conversion installed cranks and runs great....

Yes, I'll get a picture and post if here soon. Is there something in particular that the picture needs to show?

Edit: I had my wife take a picture of the distributor and I have attached it. She took the picture looking down on the distributor cap, so that's really all you can see. Can you tell if this is a Delco or Presto distributor from this angle?

Don may be able to figure that one out...but I got him a side view which showed more of the distributor characteristics....versus distr cap characteristics...he then linked me a mercruiser bulletin that showed my distributor perfectly

That's the Delco distributor.

Now I can order the correct electronic upgrade part and never have to change the points or set the dwell again.
