What do I have?

I was cleaning out the shed at our remote cabin this weekend and decided the two old Evinrude outboards needed to be gone. I have no idea of their value (if any), nor much information about them. They both run, but I wouldn't put too much stock in compression or other running condition. I know they are very old, but ran well enough over the years to be good fishing, run about the lake motors.

They are
Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5
Serial Number 7520-17872 and
Evinrude Sportwin 10
Serial Number T0020-51669

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Re: What do I have?

Hi, Nopoming.

Welcome to iboats. :)

Your Fleetwin is a 1956. The 7520 is the model number. This engine needs a 24:1 fuel mix.

I don't find the number you give for the Sportwin in my reference. Maybe someone else has it. Double check the numbers.

Good luck. :)

Looks like it's gonna be "10020" instead of "T0020", which makes it a 1960 10 HP Rude. Here's a couple of links and info for it:

16.6 cu.in. = 272.0 ccm
2 Cylinder
67 lbs. = 30.4 Kg
8 1/4 x 8 1/2" Prop
15:26 Gear Ratio

web page

web page 2
