Can someone please tell me what I have? I think it's a Volvo Penta 200. That's what the Cowling says. The tag says 243117692 on it. It's a sterndrive. I don't know what year it is Or how to get a parts manual for it. Please help if you can thanks!!!

Pictures will be the only way to ID the drive, too old for the serial number to be of any use.

What engine is it on? That can sometime help determine the drive.

It's a small tiller engine on a flat bottom boat. I don't know what year it is. I'm guessing it's a 20 horse.

No, it's not a sterndrive, it's a very old outboard. Moved to other outboard forum.

I see a serial number but not a model number. One thing though, if it is a Volvo-Penta it is a 1974-1978 motor. Here is a link to some Volvo-Penta information & parts. I think they were known as Archimedes before they were Volvo-Penta. They were discontinued after 1978, making them an orphan brand. Parts may be a problem. Anyway, check the link I provided and go from there.
