Can someone tell what I have? I have two Evinrudes mod 3088 Ser. B1760 and a Evinrude 3012-27701.

I think the first one is really 3038 which would be a 1961 3hp, and the second one is a 1952-54 3hp motor.

Thank alot for the reply's. Where in world do you find that information? And is there a market for selling the Motors? Any idea what are they worth? They both turn over but have not been started in years.

Hi Mark,<br /> There are LOTS of those little threes out there, which is great if you own one and need parts, or if you're looking for one to buy. Bottom line is that they're only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. It's a buyers market for most vintage motors. With your pariticular motors, they still ave a good deal of service value - assuming they're in good running order - complete parts, updated ignition, new waterpump, carb clean, etc. You're likely to get more selling to Joe Fisherman looking for a reliable kicker than to Carl Collector who can find fixer uppers for pennies on the pound...<br />- Scott
