I removed mine 3 years ago on my 1985 150 Black Max. If I remember correctly, all I did was remove the pump, the alarm sensor and the reservoir. Then, I took out the T valve where the oil line fed into the fuel line. I believe there was enough fuel line left to feed directly into the fuel pump. At least, I don't remember buying any fuel line. Most important is to buy the little plastic shim/plug that fits where the pump was. That locks the plastic worm gear in place and keeps it from spinning aimlessly and perhaps disintegrating. It's a cheap part from your Mercury dealer. <br /><br />All the above is from memory and it ain't what it used to be, so talk to your Merc dealer as your gonna need the shim anyway.<br /><br />Dave..
