I am going to hook up a 2100 Golight. My current navigational post is 16ga...I am guessing I will need to run 12 or 14 ga wire to it to handle it. Golight suggest this also...So Instead of moving my current navigational light post and having a hole I am going to install another mount. Which mount will I need to purchase for this? A link and item number or something would be great! Do navigational post come in different gauge sizes? I am at the start of this project. The current post will not work regardless because the trolling motor will get in way of light so I am just going to add another set up four or five inches over from the current one and run it straight to the back/batteries.
