I bought this boat w/trailer for $350.00. Engine runs, had to fix lower unit and hope to keep picking at it and fix yer' up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's a nice boat at a good price.

I'm certainly not about to pick it apart, but are you sure it's a 63'.
The reason I mention that is because my boat has the factory tag in the splash well area, port side, that identify's it as a 63' Jupiter, and there are a few variations between yours and mine.

I noticed some changes in the Jupiter of the 60's like the splashwell angular configuration, where mine is rounded at the top, no cast Starcraft emblems at the rear sides. And look inside the splashwell compartment for 3 knee braces. I've seen that they changed to one in the middle. The gunnel inside is also different. I like yours better than what's in mine.

No matter what you find, you've got one heck of a nice boat. BTW, I push mine along at 26 mph with a 97' 25 hp Johnson.

Looks good. Lots to work with. That bow light looks unusual, like it is raised from the decking. If you post more pics can you take one of it? Curious to see it up close. A couple folks here have replicated the SC emblem and looks like you need both of them if you plan to restore to original. Keep us updated.

Pretty cool. Look forward to watching her get fixed up or what we refer to as a restoration.

Outstanding price for a rig in that shape. A few things you could work on, but a good solid base to work from. Can you tell us more about the Evinrude on there? You made a great buy.
