Ok this is the boat i was referring too in my previuos i have a delima post.

Fuel pump went out first time i ran the boat and after replacing the fuel pump engine started knocking. Bought a newer boat from a friend of the family and now i'm selling this one. Engine needs to be rebuilt it has a bad rod. I put up some pics of the boat on here and want toget some opinions on what you think i could possibly get out of the boat. Got screwed on the deal but lessons learned!

Now all i'm wanting to do is get rid of it. I have it posted on craigslist here in Mo for $800. Might be a little high but onlyhad it on here not quite a week now just trying too recoup all i can out of it.

It has a mercruiser 250 I-6 165hp engine also mercruiser outdrive and 19 pitch preditor SS prop. It's a 1972 bonanza 19' trihull.

man I dont know....tough problem....the boat looks to be BEAUTIFUL.....hate to have to give it away but with a blown engine most people will not want to bother....it would take a lot of work on your part but you could probably part it out....seats, trailer...ss prop....lower unit and get more than 800 but thats alot of work....sorry no help here, I wouldnt dump it cheap just yet.....might find the right guy to come along with a good motor and beat up boat that may jump on it.

Yeah i was going too part it out but really don't have the time or the space to do so.

Don't know what you paid for the other boat but I hope it was cheaper than repairing that clean boat. Keep it covered and CLEAN. If it is not in your way just wait, you will get $800 easy. Good luck.

Just kidding- honestly, if you aren't going to part it out it isn't worth much of anything. Does it have a trailer? If not, your $800 is, I think, WILDLY optimistic.

Probably close to the same $ but the newer boat is bigger and has a newer v8 in it.

Boats are fairly cheap where you are. Here in the gulf coast area your boat would bring $800. Just hold on to it and get what makes you happy.
