There is a slight chance Ill be upgrading to a 04 Supra here in a few weeks.

So im getting my boat ready for the season and for sale.

Quick Details:
1993 Thunderbird Falcon 18.5ft
4.3L v-6 180hp
487 Hrs
Runs great, starts great. Never had any issues(knock on wood).
Been a family owned boat for um, since 95.
Nice New JVC Radio with CD/ Sat Ready, 4 new speakers, sub + amp.
Bow Cover, Bimini Cover(stock snap on one)
Boat Cover
Trailer
2 used 3 blade alum props(need reworked)
1 new 4 blade comprop
XRIII Stingray HydroFoil
Interior is in great condition
Always stored indoors, always winterized.
Oil Changed every 60 hrs/spring. New plugs every spring.

Really has been cared for very well, and in turn has served us very well.
Nothing wrong that I know of.

I was thinking of asking $6,500 OBO.
Does that sound about right or to high?

one thing I forget to mention is that the window to the bow, that opens and closes, not sure what its called is not closing very easy, it seems its not aligned properly. Im going to see if I can find the cause, but thats the only thing I can think of that is wrong.

That is one NICE looking '93. Have you checked the NADA value of the boat? I don't think you'll get $6500 but maybe I'm just being negative.

a mis aligned window is a sign of a rotten deck.....

adjust the window and search core sample

Yeah the boat is a rotted piece of junk. Send me your adress and I will come get that piece of junk off your property for free.

LOLS, actually thats a very nice looking boat. I think the previous poster had it about right...probably close to the $6g area. Around here (in Canada) it's probably closer to the $9g mark, but that's in Canuck Dollars. Provided there's no rot in the flooring as was suggested, and it's as pretty as it looks in the pics.

That is a pretty boat, with some unique features and lines. You ought to keep that one in the family, as much effort as you clearly put into keeping it up.

Really? now you got me all worried, lol. I was in the boat a bit today, wiring things back up, and I didnt notice any spots that felt soft. But I will look in that general area then, around the ski locker and by the bow. Im really hoping its not rotten, that would just make me very unhappy

If it is indeed rotten, what are the steps to correct it?

As for the window problem if it makes you feel any better I had a Regal B/R that had the same problem from day one. The window was hard to open and close I had it back to the dealer a bunch of times and it was never really corrected properly. There was no rott in that boat as it was brand new at the time.

that is a great looking boat and i wouldn't worry about rot because when the floor is rotten every thing else looks bad to, if its been cover or under a carport or something how offen does your boat really get soaked enought to rot floors. everyone that said your have rot are just mad that they don't have your boat in there driveway!

My window was hard to close also. I went around and tightened up all the screws on the windshield frame (if I saw a screw, I tightened it). Now all is good. 16 years of being on the lake, and things will loosen over time. Every screw I turned that moved only moved about 1/4 turn, but that was apparently enough to make things not line up correctly.

Re: What do you think my boat is worth?

Updated with interior shots, and sub/radio which is also HD :)
engine
drivers area
Seating etc....

Some of the pics turned out dark, have no idea why..... My camera usually takes bright photos.

Anyway I checked into the floor rot, and one small soft spot(not sure if its really soft or im just nervous) which is right above the top of the ski locker, turns out the wood is good, no rot, however there is a chunk missing from the above pictured piece, which is where that spot feels soft. Im guess its from skis going in and out of there all summer long? Ill have to see if I can replace that, but I couldn't find anything else wrong. I will also go around and tighten all the screws around the glass, and see if that helps, i looked closer and only the top doesn't line up, the bottom does, so the screw idea seems to be what Im leaning towards.

The $6g mark sounds good to me. Im now eagerly awaiting the response to the Supra deal :) Send good (new to me) boat thoughts my way, I really want this boat. My wife says if I get it, I have to live on it :)

The only thing I would do is go buy a 20 dollar can of bilge paint and paint the bilge, it will show a lot better. Other than that I would think 6500 would not be unreasonable.

NADA average retail is $4175 so maybe $3500 - $4000 is reasonable.
