I've been using sta bil every time I refuel But I'd like to put some seafoam in for the first run of the year to clean out. Do you think that's alright to mix the two or is this over kill.

They're both fuel stabilizers, but the Seafoam is also used to decarbon the motor, it won't hurt anything to use them together. I use Stabil Marine and Yamaha Ringfree all the time, Stabil for stabilizing and Ringfree to prevent/remove carbon. Good Luck!

curious as to why your thinking about using both ?do you have the dreaded ethanol junk where you are?i only use seafoam during boating season and stabil only if im not planning on using the gas over the winter but my snowblower always talks me into feeding it the outboard gas every year.sneaky thing that snowblower.

I always treat my gas every time I refuel, I may not use the boat for a week or two maybe longer it helps as a stabilizer you just use less 1oz for every 5gal. don't like taking chances just piece of mind. The seafoam is just spring cleaning

My tank has stabil, seafoam and startron in it. It just depends on what's around when I fill the tank.
