What does Dual station mean for temp/oil sender?

Looking up merc. 1987, 350 mag. eng. wanting new temp sender and oil sender and note in listings one with and one with out " WATER TEMPERATURE SENDER (DUAL)" would someone advise the meaning of this meaning of Dual ?

Link is broken, probably points to an iboats competitor.

If its described as dual station, it means its set up to send signal to 2 different helms (dual station).

Large cruisrers will have a helm in the cabin and another up on a flybridge. You'd want temp and oil gauges at both stations.

Also means it will NOT work on a single station. The impedance is different and your gauge will be way wrong! (ask me how I know)
