Just slow down and someone that has had some experience with that engine will be along.<br /><br />If you have fire at the plug then your mod is doing all it is supposed to.<br /><br />Is it getting fuel? A new carb doesn't necessarly mean it's getting fuel<br /><br />The is only 2 reasons outboards don't run, Fuel and Spark

There is fuel in the carb bowl. This motor had a lot of "gum" in it from old fuel. I had to scrape out the gunk from the valve and fuel lines. Can you think of anything that would keep the fuel from getting to the chamber? .I don't believe this is the case...when I pull the plug it seems to smell of fuel. Also, how critical is the fuel ratio? I don't have it EXACT at 50:1, I did not need to make up a full gallon so I made a Liter of it and estimated oil to add.

IS your plug wet when you pull it?<br /><br />Since it's doesn't appear to be firing.<br /><br />Is it the right plug? Gapped correctly?<br /><br />When you say you have spark is it a nice blue one?<br /><br />Too much oil will make for hard ignition
