what does white petrol mean??

hi there i reciently opened up my carb and the petrol inside was white what does this mean ??is it mixed with water or air ???

My guess would be water. You dont say if it is a 2 Stroke or 4 Stroke. So I have to assume it is the oil in the fuel mixing with water, do you have a water seperator? check the tank and see if there is water in the fuel tank. You dont give any information as to what motor, so its hard to to anything more than guess.
