What engine do I have?!?

So I just picked up a 16' Sea King, anyone have any idea what engine this is? I thought maybe a Big Twin 40 but most of the cowlings I have seen are different than the one I have.

Not that I can find. Still trying to get a pic of the cowling attached but no luck. The boat is a 1963

Could be a GALE that was rebadged as a SEAKING .

Looks just like my 1962 28h Johnson.

Could be a 30 or 33 too.

Definitely looks like it. Ever done a compression test, if so what numbers do you get? Also do you have cable steering or pulling steering? Got another question as well, do you have a push button start on the engine itself? If you do, how do you turn it off. Havent fired the engine up yet until I do the basic maintenance but want to make sure I know what I'm getting into

My comp was 85 per, but it started every time I needed her to.

I hooked it up to my 1983 SeaNymph with cable steering. Had to mod up a bracket though.

Had the key switch from the original setup, so I used that.
