What engine does this prop fit???

I was told this prop would fit my 1985 Johnson 175, but it does not.
It's 14.5" diameter for a 15 spline shaft. Overall length of the outermost hub is 6-7/8". Overall length of the inner hub is 3-3/4", with the spline length being 1-7/8".
Can someone tell me what this really fits?

Post a pic or send me one at dale@props-plus.com and we'll "see" if we can help ya out. It should be for a V6, what doesn't fit? Won't go on far enough or what?

The main problem seems to be the length of the splines. My prop that fits has splines 1-1/2" long. The extra spline length of the replacement prop prevents it from going on far enough.

Ayuh,... My guess is, it's for a Mercruiser Outdrive/ Large gearcase Mercury Outboard....

Looks like a Yamaha prop. Very lo-tech at that....
