I wanted to take my son on a little fishing/camping trip some years back. So I got all the things together and last stop was the store.. Well I got the food and off I went headed too, of course north to Redding, going to Trinity River... Well, I stopped off at Redding to top off the gas tank and wouldn't you know, my wallet is missing.. I about had a cartiac arrest when I realized I had put my wallet on the back bumper. Well, I had to drive all the way back and borrow some money from mom to take our trip. I called my mom the next day to check in. You know some really nice person found my wallet and his son reconized my picture and got ahold of my housecleaning client to get my number.. He found my wallet 6miles out of town on hwy5. My money flew out of the top compartment, but the 60 bucks I had statched was still there. I also saved on not having to replace my licience and other cards. I learned something that weekend... Never ever put your wallet on a bumper while yelling at your kid to get in the truck and stop complaining..<br />The funny thing was I went back to the spot and found 32 dollars of the 100 I lost.. I didn't let it get me to down and I still came home with some nice trout..<br />P.S. I didn't have alot of money and wanted to thank him so I called the local paper and we were on the front cover the next day with a story to add.. I still have the article..
