What Exactly Is "Quicksilver"?

I bought a bunch of stuff today to get ready for the winterizing process.
Went to West Marine. They didnt carry "Mercury" labelled products, only the "Quicksilver". I know QuickSilver is made by Mercury. So what's the deal?

PS, had to find the oil filter at a different shop. Also, how do you use the fogging oil? Never used that before. My motor is a 2005 Merc 60 4-stroke.

'Mercury' branding is sold at dealers, 'Quicksilver' branding is sold at non-dealer outlets (like West). Same stuff ...
