What fast idle?

I have an '87 bayliner capri with the Force 85 and a Morse (I think) control. Where's the fast idle? There's no button on the middle of the control arm, and nothing obvious I can find to release the gear shift from the arm, and no other controls.

On some remote controls you pull out the handle about 1/4 inch then advance to fast idle. Some are real tight and you need to grab the handle center with both hands to do it.

Thanks, Frank, you've been a real help, I'm still waiting for my clymer manual and trying to remember my engine repair skills from my misspent youth... and trying to get this Force 85 to run great so I can take my kids skiing.

BTW, I live in Maine now but I see you're in SE PA. I'm from the Reading, PA area.

Yep, just showed a newbie today how to do it..grab it pull at the pivot
