WHat fuel connectors fit 94 mariner 50?

Do anything other than merc/mariner fuel connectors fit?

It's the later non-bayonet type. I'm just about to fit a water trap on my transom and need to buy a male connector but would rather ebay one than drive 35 miles to the chandlers.

I would but Iboats still won't ship to the UK. They won't even reply to mail asking them if they will....

I'm asking because they are horribly expensive over here ($25 each!) on ebay.

I've heard they are the same as Yamaha-is there any truth in it?

Maybe you could find a buddy with a Yamaha and try it. I run an 89 Merc 200hp and and a 93-94 15 hp Honda and they both take the same connection, even though the books says they don't. Might be worth a try. The price makes it tough, I don't understand the pricing difference in todays ecomony, should cost that much more, somebody is making a lot of profit there.
