Should run 87 ,should add additive and some say rec gas dealer put 12 gallons in it with additive I have always ran rec gas but if 87 is ok that's a big savings so if you have any experience plz advise thanks if I should run additive a good brand would be appreciated

To coin a phrase - RTFM.

Additives for what? A brand new motor shouldn't need anything except gas as long as you use it on a regular basis.

Rec gas is "recreational gas", sold in many parts of the USA.

It is Ethanol free, or "pure gas".

Additive ????

fuel stabilizer ?

octane boost?

marine gas ethanol treatment?

startron

stabil

I personally use ethanol free gas in everything if it is available.
And StaBil in any gas that won't be used up in 30 days.

pull up to fuel pump, grab nozzle for 87 octane E0 or E10, fill tank go boating

no fuel additives.

Additives have proven themselves to me over the years in all types of engines used in lots of applications. Sea Foam was my constant companion on my boats. When you can go 10 years without touching the carbs on today's 87 octane E10 and not very frequent usage, and the only reason you went into them was because your fuel lines were 10 years old and dissolving with little bits of black rubber finding it's way into your high speed jet, that pretty well speaks for itself!
