I have been running a "new to me" 1988 Suzuki DT 140 for a few hours. It's been running fine but on the final leg back to the dock today I felt a distinct missing (not real bad) running about 4600-4800 rpm. I previously (before I even ran it) cleaned out all carbs and it idled fine when we got to the dock. While it was missing, I squeezed the primer bulb, didn't seem to help but I didn't have a lot of time to do it. What kind of easy things can I test/check to narror down the problem?

Thanks,
Biederboat

start with spark plugs. visually check all your spark plug leads for crack/damage too. try another gas tank and line with good gas.

It can be electrical, plugs, wires, etc., or fuel related, which could be dirty carbs, lean fuel condition, can fry a piston quick!...better check it out.
