I was on the lake tonight bass fishing in my 2000 Nitro NX882 w/ mercury 150efi. Went to move to another spot, got up on plane for about 30 seconds and the motor completely dies. Go to start it and sounded like it was seized up because the starter would engage but the motor wouldn't turn over. I took the cowl off and surprisingly turned the flywheel ( it felt normal). I decided to try the key again and the motor fired up. It ran for about 3-4 minutes in gear just above idle then instantly stopped again. It sounds like there is metal to metal noise at the bottom of the motor where the lower unit shaft meets the crank. I pulled all the plugs to see if there was piston damage but everything looks good. I just put a new lower unit on it abouth two months ago. I am thinking the absolute worst at this point. Any insight would be greatly appreciated seeing that I have a week long northearn Minnesota fishing trip in a month.

Thanks in advance
