What has iboats done for you lately !:D Thanks to everyone here on iboats that has helped me with my boat & motor.. I have received advice & suggestions from when I was "looking" for a boat- deciding what brand, deciding I/O or OB, changing the prop, replacing the impeller & thermostats, adjusting the trim gauge, isolating one of the livewells, finding parts for my Taylor Bimini top, replacing the gasket on my leaking fuel tank, winterizing JUST to name a few things... She is comming along nicely! I was at the lake today enyoying how everything was working (this will be my first full season with this boat)and dispite the white caps, the Lund kept me happy & dry ! Thanks.

Besides the great advice, I come for the stories, jokes and the Idle banter, not bickering.

WHACHU MEAN BICKERING???:):D

I agree completely. These things have helped me hang on to what is left of my sanity with all that is happening.Plus over the last nine years of boat ownership this site and all the great people here made me a more conscientious owner. I.E. basic upkeep and maintenance.

I agree... A boat definately does not fall under the saying "IF IT AINT BROKE- DONT FIT IT"...

when I think of my first nine yrs of new boater boat ownership...not knowing a thing about boats, and not knowing anyone who owned or knew a thing about boats.....everything was a learning struggle...now , I am working on restoring a beauty , and have considered myself QUITE lucky to have found this forum to learn from, and even pass on some hard learned advice.....thanks to all my Iboats forum brothers.
By the way , where did you get that Iboats sticker you have on the side of your engine cover , Billfo ?? We should all be sporting that sticker ...so we know if we pass each other on the water...maybe even have a cool Iboats Forum sticker.....

Now there's a good idea. Those stickers come on the package when you order from iboats. At least they did for me. Maybe I'll peel one off and stick it on my rude?:D

Besides the great advice, and quick shipping, I made whoever the iboats staff person on facebook laugh at a comment I made in the women boaters post the other day, even though they had to delete it :D

Actually, I had it made off the internet for about 4 bucks... Definately something the "iboats store" should offer. I suggested it a few months back..

Re: What has iboats done for you lately !

iboats helped me get my outboard (new to me) up and running like a brand new one. I would like to thank all of you who offered help and advice. The things I have learned on here are to numerous to mention. There are folks paying to go to outboard mechanic schools who could save there their money and get a better education by simply reading the posts in the forums and accepting the help and advice given. The fact that the fun is in the mix only makes it that much more great. God Bless all. Dave

Well there is far to much to mention for me, but the number one thing is support on my refit project!

Friends and family just keep saying what a wast of time it is, well I guess when they want to go out on the water i will just tell them, Why it such a wast of time! :D

Heck even a local Iboats Member that boats the same area as me, met up with me and helped me learn to wakeboard!:)
