Hi Guys (& Gals),

I hope that someone can help with this. I was told that the motor is a 1928 1horse of unknown manufacture.

The only identifying markings, anywhere on her, are on the bottom of the stator/ignition plate.

(casting) R.E.PHELON CO.INC EAST LONGMEDOW MAS USA
(casting) PATENT NO 2472313 MODEL (stamping) F-3830

The coil (looks relatively new) has REPCO in raised letters on the front

The cylinder is water-cooled, the head is finned and air cooled. Exhaust runs down a pipe next to the drive shaft housing. Water pumps up a piece of copper tube to the block and back down another piece of tubing.

She's a complete wreck. Piston/cylinder are rusted together. Foot is broken/cracked. Drive shaft & prop are frozen. Carb & reeds are missing.

BUT,… she's begging to come back to life so if someone can ID this, we can get started

Re: What have we got?

Looks like a Neptune Mighty-Mite, probably from the 1950s. Fairly common motors, somewhat sought after due to their "cuteness factor"... Approx 1.2hp...
- Scott
