I think I got my problems sorted out, Vacuum and pressure tested both manifolds, held 20 inches of vac and 50 psi of air for 30 minutes. cleaned both risers, made new gaskets and am holding about 160 degrees, higher at idle, lower at above idle. none of the external temps, manifolds, hoses, etc are above 200. is this o.k. ?? I'm wondering if load on the engine will change this any. My raw water pump is capable of more flow than the hose, in fact will theoretically do 18 gpm. thanks for any answers, Since I am still a nwbie, i worry a lot. 305 chev, 898
