what is a shooter prop,I found out omc edited

I have a evenrude 150 xp with a 4 blade 25 pp shooter prop on it, I had the hub recentered after sucking up rope after fixed I lost some top end , I like to know who makes it, is it a racing prop, my 19 alum would blow out even 21 can in rough water put the motor lower on jack plate to get most bite, the jack plate owners manual <br />how to mount, for full speed in rough water was set to high <br /><br />i haven't run since fixed it cold here<br /><br />the prop shop want's me to send this prop back for pitch reading and look at cupping, HE said he can make it grab the water! it will be fixed this time now I had death in family and sent email, there return email said they would fix it at no charge to me just mail it to them when I can it there now 2/6/2006

Welcome!!<br /><br />Did they repalce the hub only or did they work on the blades at all? Even a little bit?

hub only and balance,t was in good shape the rope was a tie rope part of boat plus seal in lower unit I did that my self

Balance... so they did work on the blades. Ask them what pitch blocks they used. If they used SST pitch blocks, you no longer have a Shooter. you have a polished 4 blade SST.

the thing is polished silver they ground on one blade back no repitching it 25 blades were not damaged i got it as soon as it happen with rope<br /><br />I sent the prop to Kawartha Prop Repair in canada they said they would fix it for free if i send it there going to fix the blade's for me i think add more cupping 2/1/2006 there 2/6/2006
