what is best method to clean heavy oxidation and what kind of sealer

my 74 Lund boat has very heavy oxidation on the trim parts on the top of the boat. Anyone out there, have some real life ways of cleaning it up,I'd really appreciate any help you can give me.Also advice on staining and sealing the seat wood would be helpful- is that plywood (baltic birch) or a type of marine plywood? thnks for the help.Here's some pics of what i'm working on.:confused--- never mind i just found that forum directory at bottom of the forum pages- theres a lot of good advice- should have looked around more- i will next time. later
