What is in that OMC Seal Kit anyway?

In my researching for parts for my 75-76 OMC Outdrive I have more than once asked that question. So, the following link are for those newer than me at this so you do not have guess so much. I have it listed in my favorites.

The pictures in the link you posted answer that question very nicely. Related gaskets, o-rings, seals, some hardware. Many times there are parts that fit other variations, and a few are common with both upper and lower kits. There will always be a few parts leftover.

What isn't included is certain pinion gear locknuts and spanner nut locking tabs that should be replaced if those parts are disassembled.

You can also get those kits right here on iboats, probably at a nicer price.
