Hey all i just came into a motor. Can you help me with the specs like year ect?

Its a Evinrude THE MODEL NUMBER IS 33552 B AND THE SERIAL NUMBER IS E03589 .

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated and if you can tell me where to look it up that would be cool too.

Based on that model number, you have got a 1965 Evinrude 33hp. I think that was the first year that Evinrude made the 33 but don't hold me to that.

I get the 33 for the hp but where do you get the 1965 for the year from that

My dad was an evinrude service mechanic and we have the service manual here for 1965 - 70. The 65 model was 33502, 33503, 33552, 33553, the 66 has a 6 where the 5 and so on up until 1970. Dad says it was 70 or 71 they discontinued but the models on the 70 service manual shows 33002 and so on.

Anyway, that's it..the 5 is for a 65 model.
