What is my boat?

Hi guys,
This is a great forum. I have learnt heaps from the posts allready up. But I want to know more about my boat. Does anybody know what it is. Its branded a yamaha, built aprox 1985-1990, its 17 ft, mercuiser 140hp 4cyl. I haven't seen another one in New Zealand and would like to know more about it. It's a great boat and if any one could help I would be very happy.

Do you have a HIN? It should be located on the upper right hand corner of the transom. You can then go here to get a little more info.

Thanks for your advice. I didn't even know boats had HIN's.. I will check it out, I hope it's still visible as the boat has been re-painted. Thanks again.

Yes....Yes it is. Lucky I'm under worked and over paid..

As much as she is a money pit, it's all forgotten when I'm catching big snapper in my local harbour on her.
