What is my parts # for a carb Float 1957 18HP Johnson

Hi, I bought a 1957 18HP Johnson and want to buy a carb float for it. I can't find the part # any where for a Sierra float. Anyone know if the one that fits the 1969 and later 18 HP Johnsons would work?

Original number was 375919, and is replaced by 396514 as tashasdaddy said. The new # is an alcohol-proof float. Sierra doens't make one. And no, the one for the newer style carburetor won't work.

Looking for a Carb kit w/ float for my 1957 Javelin...Part # 18-7024 gets me most of the way there but need to replace the old cork float. Any ideas what part # would work?

Carb kit with float is: #439074. Float only (will work with Sierra # 18-7024) is: #375792
