'76 75HP Evinrude

The first three pics I took after taking off the air box in the middle of the lake this evening, Wasn't sure what it was so I left it off and proceeded at WOT for ten minutes or so.

The second two pics where from after WOT.

It was about 85 degrees out and probably 80% humidity.

It is very slippery felt like dish soap.

You can see that there was so much that it actually started dripping into the carb.

My guess would be water vapor condensing and mixing with oil, just not sure how oil would get to the front of the choke valves.

I did not spray anything into the carbs and there is no seafoam or additives in the fuel.

It is due to a slightly blow-back of fuel/oil mix from the carbs. To reduce it, be sure box is in place and all gaskets sealing properly. Nothing to worry about.

I did a bit of looking, never heard of the Hustler. I doesn't say it anywhere on the motor. Is there a specific model# or way to tell if it was a Hustler model?

Evinrude had their Hustler, Johnson their Stingers. Supposed to be some 'tuned up' versions of the 70Hp and marketed as 75.
