What is the best way to change the lower unit lub

I have a 1972 50hp evinrude with a eclectic control box. What is the best way to change the lower unit oil. The drain and sight plug are very small with makes it hard to fill from the bottom.

the first thing you do, is stop at the dealer and pick up new seals for the plugs, #1 cause for lower damage. and buy one of these. the lube must go in the bottom to fill all the areas.

fill the unit until the oil comes your the top hole, insert top plug, then disconnect and insert bottom plug. with the electric shift us to correct lube, to avoid problems.
