I am ordering a 4 blade SS 14-21p, but I am stuck at picking a brand. I have searched, read, watched videos, and I am still confused at what brand does what. The way I understand it, each brand does something different. I just want it to be durable, have a good hub system, and be a reasonable price. Anyone out there have any ideas?

If it's the one in his signature, it's a Mercruiser ......

Basically you want a prop that's designed for sterndrives. Most likely you'll want a 4 blade prop with stern lift, which is not uncommon. Something like a Stiletto Bay Pro II would work fine.

Please tell me what they are. I have looked at several different sites and all I could find was aluminum 4 blades.

I have been trying to decide between the Stiletto or the Solas, just can't make up my mind. If I could find some info on Mercruiser's SS 4 blades I would love to look at it.

I can't believe I actually sat here and said I could not find a Mercruiser SS 4 blade prop. I forgot that I actually found one here on iboats, but the price difference between the brands seems a lot.

You could go to the Mercury Marine prop selector site and it will tell you what props it recommends for your numbers. The biggest difference in prices is from country of origin, made in the USA or made in Asia.
