I was looking at the male and female connectors for the fuel line on a force motor there is a big difference in price they both seem be the same to me. have any of you used either of them and wich do you perfer thanks for any info
I can't answer your question, but I can guess. Seasense is probably made in China and is a cheap copy. Sierra may be US made, or it also may be made in China, but if it is it Chinese it is made to Sierra's specs.
A lot of the Seasense parts look cheaply made to me, and that's why I stay away from them. Also, I DID use one of their connectors a few years ago because that's all the dealer had and I needed one right now. It leaked!
For 5 or 10 bucks difference, it ain't worth it.
I always replaced the force connecters with Mercury connectors.
That way I could use all my tanks with all my motors, switched out the Johnson too.
