Today i received my new impeller parts out of the States (thanks to Brains Marina) and i am glad that they came so soon.
Because this is the first time for me i want to now how i can do it the right way. In the picture below is the housing with the hole for the impeller and the new impeller, as you see the hole is smaller than the impeller is so do i need to bent it a litle and push it in? Should i use grease for it? and if i have to bent it a litle wich way do i have to bent it? Every helpful comment is very welcome.

Don't look at the messy lower unit, i still have to clean it up. Its a 1962 merc 500.
