I just bought this 8hp evirude. What do I need to find the year of this motor. Model# EBREDS Serial#G039B3600

1996. The 'B' is an 8.

I'm needing to find out the year of my husbands 60 hp Evinrude, if you can tell by these #s, which I'm not sure
if its serial # or what. G02268962 & E60TLCEA

Your husbands motor was made in 1989.
