I have a 1996 1860 Reedcraft (aluminum) with a 1984 175 Johnson Jet prop. Boat has a custom camo paint job (looks factory), neomat flooring, radio, hot foot, new seats, side console, trim and tilt, built in cooler, and fish finder just to name a few. Nothing is wrong with it at all. Good compression on all 6 cyclinders, runs strong, and everything works. It is not that fast, which suprises me, runs around 25-30 MPH. That was the reason I bought it, and now that I figured that out I want to sell it and get a faster one. What should I start at? here is a link to the boat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcpErf0dLss

- out board jets are not very efficient- they are for getting in skinny water & other places that would foul a prop.
maybe find a 1984 OMC V-6 outboard that is blown/ busted but with a good lower unit & swap 'em out to haul azz in open water.

I guess I could give you $1000 for it to get it off your hands. The best way to find out what a boat is worth it so check places like ebay and craigslist and find ones with similar setups. Where you live also makes a big difference.
