What is this bolt to?

1993 mercruiser 454. Bolt is .375 x 16 x 2 1/4 in long. Has a spacer and bolt was factory painted at one time. Hit me with some ideas where is goes.

Alternator mounting or power steering pump mounting...

I thought it was alternator too judging by a diagram i saw but doesn't work.

the bracket for the fuel sep. one goes to the end of the manifold, the other to the head. seen spacers on both

Or, The oil dip-stick holder. (I think I asked this question once.)
